Summary of site

Location: Sancton Hill, East Yorkshire
Cornwall Light and Power is proposing five turbines at Sancton Hill Farm (near Market Weighton). The turbines would collectively provide enough clean, emissions-free electricity to power around 5,700 homes and would contribute 10 megawatts (MW) towards Yorkshire and Humber’s target of 708MW of installed renewable energy capacity by 2010.
